Crimsafe’s mission is to help people to live safer. Recently Starbility Support Services contacted Crimsafe for urgent help to support Glen, a vulnerable member of the Penrith community. After suffering a major stroke, Glen was hospitalised for an extended period of time. While he was recovering in hospital, squatters broke into his home, severely damaging the property and leaving behind a mess. The squatters later returned and lived undetected beneath Glen’s home, tapping into his electricity and making him live in fear. Glen boarded up his home with wood as a temporary security measure. Glen’s story moved the team at Crimsafe and PRW Security Doors & Screens, a local Crimsafe Authorised Licensee, who offered to secure Glen’s home with Australia’s strongest security screen doors and windows.
